Our Story

1999

Under a contract with the U.S. Department of Energy, Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia) developed Decontaminating Foam 100 (DF100) as a solution for use against biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction, and granted EnviroFoam Technologies (EFT) a commercial license to this formula. Not long thereafter, Sandia transformed DF100 into a more advanced formula with faster neutralization and kill times – DF200. EFT used this original formula as a basis for its proprietary blend, EasyDECON®. The United States military tested EFT’s EasyDECON®, extensively against the worst biological and chemical threats with successful results.
